LAHORE – The Pakistan Cricket Board has decided to give former national team captain Misbah-ul-Haq a fitting reward for his continued services to Pakistan cricket, The Dependent has learnt. “The board has decided to give its legend and most successful Test captain Misbah-ul-Haq a monthly 10 for 3 batting crisis as post retirement pension,” a PCB official told The Dependent. “We value our legends and make sure that we fulfill their needs once they call it a day as well. That is why we are going to provide Misbah-ul-Haq the thing he craves the most: a batting crisis.”The PCB has decided to invite Misbah-ul-Haq to one match every month where the batting side would be reeling at 10/3 needing a man to steer them home. “Also, 10/3 is the average and we’ll change it around to give Misbah all kinds of crises that he needs – batting first or second,” the PCB official added.
