Members of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Board are upbeat on ending the impasse regarding the status of Chito Narvasa. Outgoing board chairman Mikee Romero of GlobalPort who presided the launch, explained to the media what to expect in the coming season. “We will promise you that there’s a solution to it and it will come soon,” said Fernandez without further elaborating how the board will end the impasse. The PBA leadership crisis started when Narvasa approved the trade between the Beermen and Picanto that saw No. 1 pick Christian Standhardinger going to San Miguel Beer in exchange of three role players and a future second round pick.
