PETALING JAYA: The expulsion of Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin from Bersatu is shocking, says PAS deputy president Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man. However, he hoped that Bersatu could quell its internal strife as soon as possible. PAS is a component of opposition coalition Perikatan Nasional, with Bersatu, Gerakan and MIPP. "PAS will soon discuss the Opposition Leader's position with our parliament bureau. "(The dismissal is) due to Datuk Seri's actions violating Clause 9.1.4 of the Bersatu constitution," he added.
