KUALA TERENGGANU: The PAS Youth wing will look into complaints raised by veterans group National Patriots Association (Patriot) over uniforms worn by the party's volunteer corps, Jabatan Amal, at the party's 64th muktamar (general assembly) here. Its chief Muhammad Khalil Abdul Hadi said he acknowledged the dissatisfaction of former servicemen over the uniforms worn by its volunteer corps as they were similar to the ceremonial uniforms of the Armed Forces. Jabatan Amal is a division under the PAS Youth wing. Patriot issued a statement after seeing photographs of PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang inspecting a "guard of honour" before opening the muktamar on Saturday (Sept 15). Mohamed Arshad urged the Defence Ministry and Home Ministry to take appropriate action over the incident.
