ALOR SETAR: PAS Youth has passed a motion to cut ties with PKR at its muktamar, after a similar motion was passed by the party's ulama wing on Thursday. The motion was passed unanimously by youth delegates here on Friday, accompanied by shouts of "Allahuakbar". In supporting the motion, a Shah Alam PAS Youth delegate said PKR had also proven that it was an opportunistic party. "To serve their own interests, they initiated the Kajang move and unnecessarily sought the involvement of their allies," he said. The motion to cut ties with PKR will now be brought to the general muktamar taking place over three days from Saturday, and will be ultimately deliberated by the party's syura council.
