PAL airlifts 400,000 doses of vaccines from China – The Manila Times


Philippine Airlines (PAL) flight PR361 carrying vital Covid vaccines cargo from Beijing arrived on Wednesday morning. The flight, which left Manila on Tuesday evening to pick up 400,000 doses of Sinovac vaccines with Captain Robert Serrano, First Officers Edilberto Cayetano and Christian Cuenca, landed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) at 7:25 a.m. PAL said they are “glad to be of service to the nation through vaccine transport – a vital step towards the country’s healing and recovery” as these vaccines has been critical in the global fight against Corona virus. On February this year, a Chinese military cargo plane delivered 600,000 doses of Sinovac vaccines in the Philippines. The turnover ceremony of the donated vaccines were graced by President Rodrigo Duterte and Chinese Ambassador Huang Xilian.
