PAGASA: Rainy Saturday due to cold front, northeast monsoon

In its 4:00 a.m. weather forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the tail-end of a cold front would bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Eastern and Central Visayas, and Caraga Region. The said weather system could trigger possible flash floods or landslides due to scattered light to moderate to at times heavy rains, PAGASA said. Meanwhile, Cagayan Valley Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon would experience cloudy skies with scattered rains due to the northeast monsoon. The northeast monsoon would likewise bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains over Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, and the rest of Central Luzon and CALABARZON. According to the state weather bureau, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers would prevail over the rest of the country due to localized thunderstorms.
