PETALING JAYA: The Public Accounts Committee will decide by Friday the ministries and departments to be hauled up following the release of the Auditor-General’s Report 2016 Series 1 in Parliament on Monday. Its chairman Datuk Hasan Ariffin said the PAC has received the financial statements of all the ministries, as well as departments and federal statutory bodies. "We have received 145 financial statements as of July 28.From that, 46 have been issued with certificates without reprimand, while 99 others are still being audited. "We expect to issue all certificates by Aug 13,” Hasan told a press conference in Parliament. During a closed-door meeting earlier, the PAC was briefed by the A-G’s department on the findings of the report.
