P6M worth of shabu seized from alleged African Drug Syndicate members

Camp Vicente Lim, Laguna — Two alleged members of the African Drug Syndicate were arrested early Wednesday morning by agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency during an entrapment operation in Cavite where P6 million worth of shabu were seized. PDEA Director General Aaron Aquino identified the suspects as Solomon Anochiwa, 34, and Desmond Ozoma, 34, both Nigerian nationals and residents of Parañaque City. A drug transaction with Anochiwa and his cohort was immediately hatched by PDEA operatives that led to their capture. “Besides recruiting Filipinos as drug couriers, ADS members like Anochiwa and Ozoma are actively involved in international drug trafficking using our airports and cyber crimes,” he added. Anochiwa and Ozoma are temporarily under the custody of the PDEA RO IV-A jail facility in Camp Vicente Lim, Calamba City, Laguna.
