P6-M worth of shabu seized in CamSur drug den

NAGA CITY — The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) confiscated an estimated P6 million worth of “shabu” (methamphetamine hydrochloride) during a search in a residence turned into a drug den just across the police station in Milaor town in Camarines Sur, a drug agent said Monday. Brigel said they put the suspected drug pushers under a month of surveillance before swooping down on the house in Barangay (village) Del Rosario. ADVERTISEMENTHe said aside from the Abineses, police and PDEA also arrested Ivan Soreta, Meland Cabase, Bobby Pequit and Ben Araojo. The four were believed to be drug users who were in the residence, which the Abineses opened to clients as a drug den. Brigel said the one-kilo shabu was the biggest so far the PDEA confiscated this year in Camarines Sur.
