Dine Brands Global Inc. and Brinker International Inc. said diners are increasingly turning to delivery and takeout options, providing both casual-dining chains some relief as social-distancing measures keep their dining rooms empty. Dine, the company behind Applebee’s and IHOP, and Brinker, the owner of Chili’s, on Wednesday reported a fall in traffic in their restaurants and weaker sales across their existing locations as the coronavirus pandemic took hold.
