The Monroe County Republican Party held meetings in the past at the pizza restaurant, and Rice was known around Bloomington for dressing up as an old-fashioned Sheriff, complete with silver revolvers. The Bloomingtonian reached out to the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office Monday after 5 p.m. and not received a response yet.
