Pharmacare is closely related to health care, so how can we have a national pharmacare system when we don’t have a national health-care system? We don’t have a health-care system, we have multiple health-care systems. We should have a national health-care system incorporating pharmacare. Why do we need 10 health-care ministries, 10 health-care ministers and all the associated support systems and support staff? Before adding to our health-care systems, Health Canada should take over and create a national health-care system.
