PETALING JAYA: Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah has acknowledged that there was overcrowding among the residents of Menara City One condominium in Kuala Lumpur when the ministry team was there to conduct mass testing for Covid-19. Noting that the overcrowding was “a concern”, he said that residents from Block A and Block B had come down to the common area for the testing session on Friday. They claimed that the health authorities had jeopardised the health and safety of the residents. A total of 51 Covid-19 cases have so far been reported in the condominium. Dr Noor Hisham said there had been no new cases reported in the condominium as of noon yesterday.
