Some vaccination centres will close for a month until stocks recoverThe NHS’s medical director for England has told the over-50s to get their coronavirus vaccine before stocks run out. Professor Stephen Powis gave the warning as supplies of the jab are expected to fall short during April. The news comes as it emerges that some sites will close for a month while waiting for batches of the vaccine as supplies from India stall. From Monday there will be no new appointments made until stocks of the vaccine are replenished. Official figures show 28,327,873 adults have had a first dose of the jab, with a further 2,363,684 fully vaccinated.
