More than 500,000 individual taxpayers have filed their income tax returns online for FY 2024-2025. The statement highlighted a significant increase compared to the same period last year, when 217,471 returns were submitted online. The number of registrations for online return filing has also surpassed 1.25 million. Taxpayers can easily and quickly file their 2024-2025 returns using the NBR's www.etaxnbr.gov.bd platform. The portal allows users to download and print return copies, acknowledgment receipts, income tax certificates, and TIN certificates.
