The Moroccan Royal Navy seized on Thursday over 500 kg of chira off Tangiers, a military source said. The navy’s coastguard spotted a suspicious inflatable boat off Tangiers, in the early hours of Thursday and succeeded, in collaboration with a surveillance unit of the Royal Armed Forces, to foil the trafficking operation, the source said. When the traffickers realized that they were chased by the navy, they threw their load in the sea. However, the combing of the zone by the coastguard enabled to recover over 591 kg of chira.
