Over 300 visually impaired in Ethiopia set to get new school – New Business Ethiopia


The Office of the First Lady of Ethiopia said by investing 400 million Birr it is building a school for people with low vision and blindness problem. When completed the new school, FBM, will be able to provide service to 320 students with low vision and blindness problem. So far by the Office of the First Lady of Ethiopia has completed constructions of over a dozen high schools in different parts of Ethiopia. Reports show that many youngsters especially girls in rural areas of Ethiopia quit school after completing primary schools because high schools are not available in their areas. The Office has also renovated Sebeta School for the visually impaired spending 12 million Birr.
