Over 300 indigents of the Ilorin emirates in Kwara State have benefited from a two-day free medical outreach that involved medical enlightenment, diagnosing, free drugs. Beneficiaries, who included children, aged, women and youths were treated for various ailments such as High Blood Pressure (HBP), Malaria, deworming and eye care, among others. “We are supposed to de-worm about 1,000 children with no limit to the number of elders to take care of. Also speaking, the coordinator of the programme and a medical practitioner, Prof. Aisha said the project was meant to give back to the immediate community. Treatment is without sentiments or discrimination and as you can see according to the number of people present here today.
