The Edmonton Elks are offering free tickets to those who have been evacuated from the Northwest Territories as a result of ongoing wildfires. As of noon on Sunday, over 3,000 evacuees had registered to attend this weekend’s game. Evacuees must present their driver’s license from the Northwest Territories or their evacuation wristband in order to claim free tickets. On Monday, there were 238 active wildfires in the Northwest Territories. The teams met at TD Place Stadium in Week 4 with the Redblacks winning by a score of 26-7.
