OVER one thousand persons yesterday, participated in the fourth edition of the Anambra Walk For Life Exercise, initiated by the State Sports Development Commission. This edition which took off from the Ziks Roundabout Onitsha through Awka Road, to DMGS Roundabout and New Market Road, drew stakeholders in the State including House of Assembly members, Commissioners, top government functionaries, among others. The member representing Onitsha North Constituency Two at the State Assembly, Mr Eddy Ibuzo said the exercise has numerous benefits and advising his constituents to embark on regular exercise. The Transition Committee Chairman for Onitsha South Local Government Area, Mr Patrick Ayamba lauded the Governor for supporting the initiative. Also present were the Commissioner for Lands, Mr Nnamdi Onukwube, member representing Onitsha South Constituency Two, Mrs Beverly Nkemdiche-Ikpazu, APGA candidate for Onitsha North and South Federal Constituency, Mr Patrick Obianwu, among others.
