A statement by the BoG Secretary, Sandra Thompson, notes that the medical facility is available to the benefit of the general public. She said the BoG reached an agreement with the Ministry of Health that the facility will "assist in the treatment of severe and critical cases of COVID-19. Let me say that, the Bank of Ghana health facility is not under the entire control of the government. Health Minister, Kwaku Agyemang-Manu, on Wednesday, indicated that 58 infected persons are receiving treatment at home after 20 of them were recently discharged.
