The Civil Rights Movement in 1963 led to necessary legal changes and the Voting Rights Act (VRA) of 1965. All these decisions have sided so far with republicans against VRA and voters rights, to be represented and vote at all. If the State Constitution protects voting rights, then invalidate that at the federal level.
