Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has expressed readiness to collaborate with other South-East governors to upgrade the Nigerian Law School, Enugu Campus. Otti made the pledge during a meeting of the South East Law Development Initiative held at the Government House in Umuahia, where concerns were raised over the state of facilities at the Enugu campus. Responding, Otti called for a coordinated regional effort, asking that a formal request be sent to the Chairman of the South East Governors’ Forum to enable broader engagement. “Write to the Chairman of the South East Governors’ Forum and copy me, so that I can engage my colleagues on possible collective intervention,” he said. The governor also reiterated his administration’s commitment to education, highlighting ongoing efforts to develop a modern law faculty at Abia State University, Uturu.
