Ottawa Police Service chief administrative officer Jeff Letourneau is no longer with the service following allegations he was using a company vehicle for personal use and not paying taxes for it. The decision comes after a letter was submitted to the board in late March by the president of the Ottawa Police Association Matt Skof. It is also unclear if Letourneau was authorized to have use of a company vehicle in the first place. According to that list, Letourneau earned more than $242,000 as chief administrative officer last year, but only reported $1,060 in taxable benefits. Skof said how much "misuse may have occurred" could only be discovered through an investigation by the Ottawa Police Services Board.
