The Ottawa Senators understand that they lost out on the opportunity to earn two points. Patrick Kane tallied two goals, such as the goal that tied the game up, to send the game into overtime for Chicago (17-32-5). Kane tallied his second goal of the evening with only three minutes and five seconds left, equalizing the score. He noted that it was quite evident that Kane would take advantage of any slight chance given to him. Kane has scored nine goals and given out twenty assists against the Senators in the last twelve games, going all the way back to December 2015.
