Charlie Eger is the new running backs coach for the Ottawa Redblacks. Eger arrives in Ottawa with extensive coaching experience at the collegiate level, most recently serving as the interim offensive co-ordinator at Clarion University. Prior to that, Eger spent six seasons as an assistant coach at Seton Hill University, working as the offensive co-ordinator while also coaching the offensive line (2014-17) and serving as recruiting co-ordinator. “Charlie has coached the offensive system at training camp the past two years in Winnipeg and has had an outstanding career in coaching,” Redblacks coach Paul LaPolice said.
