Ottawa police say the child that was the subject of an Amber Alert Friday morning has been found safe. An alert went out to mobile devices before 4 a.m.Spokesperson Const. Martin Dompierre said the child was found "in good health" around 9:30 a.m. on Friday, after an officer found a person they'd been looking to speak to on a street in the Britannia area. That person is now a suspect and is being interviewed by police, Dompierre said. The child was sent to the hospital to be checked out.
