Jordyn Baldwin’s ‘Rural Homestead’ kitchen in an Otorohanga farmhouse was voted the best kitchen in the NKBA awards by the public. The 2021 People’s Choice Kitchen Award winner, sponsored by Kitchen Things, is Jordyn Baldwin from Turton Oliver in Hamilton, for her project Rural Homestead, in Otorohanga, Waikato. The 2021 People’s Choice Bathroom Award winner, sponsored by CDK Stone, was Brooke Hulston from Lume Design for her project ‘Unified Forms’ located in St Albans, Christchurch. “It is always fascinating to see what projects will win the People’s Choice Awards and if they will be different from the judge’s decisions. This year the People’s Choice Award winners didn’t receive an official NKBA Excellence in Design Award, and so we are certain that winning People’s Choice will be very validating and an exciting moment for Brooke and Jordyn.
