A Timaru District Council supplied map on road closures and restricted access for the asphalt renewal work on Otipua Rd. A $220,000 road renewal is set to disrupt Timaru traffic movements around the northern of end of Otipua Rd for the rest of Februrary. The major upgrade works, set to start on Monday, involve the section of Otipua Rd from Wai-Iti Rd roundabout to Kiwi Drive and will see the removal of the existing road surface and minor repairs to the underlying pavement structure as well as the construction of a new asphalt surface.
