The Gender Minister as part of her two-day familiarization tour of the Volta Region joined the long queue of pupils of Adaklu-Helekpe to be served Lunch. The programme currently feeds over 6 million pupils across the country and employs local farmers that supply foodstuffs to the caterers. The pupils who for the first time saw the Minister in their school were outwardly excited to see her join them for lunch. Speaking to Caterers of the Programme, the minister asked them to remain committed to the Ministry’s efforts to stabilize the scheme.
