The foundation, named Henry Djaba foundation aims at working towards the socio-economic transformation of the vulnerable and the disabled as well as empowering women and children. According to the former minister, she launched the foundation to honour her late father on what would have been his 85th birthday because God had been good to her. Otiko Afisa Djaba went on to say the foundation aims to transform the lives of the vulnerable by empowering them economically and building their capacity to be self-reliant. The foundation also aims to collaborate with strategic partners to work on the economic empowerment of marginalized groups in Ghana.
