KUALA LUMPUR: With the arrival of Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, the closing ceremony of the 9th Asean Para Games has begun. But the ceremony officially began at 8.30pm when Dr Ahmad Zahid made his appearance at the stadium. Part of the crowd during the closing ceremony of 9th Asean Para Games. The ceremony marks the end of the six-day Games which pitted para athletes from the 11 countries in the region against each other. There is also expected to be a handover ceremony to the Philippines, where the next SEA Games and Asean Para Games will be hosted.
