New Zealand were 184 for five 33 overs into the first ODI of Chappell-Hadlee series at Eden Park today. Otago duo James Neesham and Neil Broom were unbeaten at the crease on 31 and 21 not out. Martin Guptill was New Zealand's highest scorer with 61, while the rest of the batsmen managed starts without pushing on. Marcus Stonis, playing in just his second ODI, has been the pick of the Australian bowlers. He took three for 49 off his 10 overs claiming the key wickets of Guptill and Kane Williamson.
