He stated that the new initiative was prompted by the need to address the persistent challenges of multiple taxation faced by taxpayers in Osun state. The harmonized bill consolidates all levies that businesses are expected to pay on an annual basis into a single bill. The governor’s spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, announced the new initiative, explaining that the single bill allows for easy and convenient payments, which can be made in equal or unequal tranches.
