By Daymond SteerJulie Rosiak addresses Ossipee selectmen on Monday. (GOVERNMENTOVERSITE.COM)OSSIPEE — After a resident complained last week that police failed to respond to numerous calls about nearly a dozen hypodermic needles lying on a walking path, Ossipee selectmen vowed that would never happen again. Rosiak called Carroll County Dispatch at 2:40 p.m. and was told someone would get the needles. Bob King said his department makes no excuses but explained that on the day Rosiak called, there was a "cataclysmic swirl of events" going on. On Monday, Morgan said Eldridge took responsibility for the fact that the first call was not answered.
