(COURTESY PHOTO)OSSIPEE — A local man was indicted on several charges, including negligent homicide and manslaughter, by a Carroll County Superior Court grand jury recently. Janet Baumann was pronounced deceased on the scene. The manslaughter indictment alleges Nason "recklessly" caused the death of Janet Baumann. The assault indictment is being charged as a class B felony carrying a 3 1/2-to-seven year prison sentence and a $4,000 fine.
