Johnny EdwardVictor Osimhen has been voted Lille’s Player of The Season by his French Ligue 1 club, The PUNCH reports. He succeeds Nicolas Pepe, who won the award last season before departing for Arsenal for a record fee of £72m. Osimhen scored 18 goals and recorded six assists in 31 appearances across all competitions for Lille before the Ligue 1 season in France was called off due to the coronavirus pandemic. Osimhen was named in the Ligue 1 Team of the Season. The former Wolfsburg striker has been linked with a move away from Lille following an impressive debut campaign in France.
