A 56-year-old man remains in custody after being charged with the killing of his elderly mother on Mother’s Day in Oshawa. Timothy John Mooney appeared via video link in an Oshawa bail court Monday afternoon. He’s charged with second-degree murder and was remanded until a further video appearance scheduled for Friday.
