Durham police have laid first-degree murder charges against an Oshawa man who was already in custody after DNA linked to two missing women was found in his downtown apartment. The DNA of two teens, Kandis Fitzpatrick, left, and Rori Hache were found in the Oshawa home of Adam Strong, who was charged with first-degree murder in their deaths on Thursday. ( Sabrina Byrnes/Metroland ) Adam Strong, 46, seen here in a Facebook photo, was charged with two counts of first-degree murder on Thursday. Durham officers were expected to arrest Strong at the Central East Corrections Centre in Lindsay Thursday and charge him with first-degree murder. In July of 2018, Durham police announced that DNA from a second woman, Kandis Fitzpatrick, was discovered during their extensive search of Strong’s apartment.
