The 51-year-old posed with his Oscar for the cover story of Variety, one day after his big win. The star shared the poignant advice Cate Blanchett gave him during a recent event. He went to an open casting call to play Indiana Jones' sidekick Short Round, which he went on to play in the 1984 film Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom - serving as his screen debut. He was presented the Oscar by Harrison Ford himself, his co-star in Indiana Jones, which really made it all full circle for him.
