The nominees for best actress are Erivo (“Harriet”), Scarlett Johansson (“Marriage Story”), Saoirse Ronan (“Little Women”), Charlize Theron (“Bombshell”) and Renée Zellweger (“Judy”). Gerwig was overlooked, though her script for “Little Women” was nominated, and the film was given a nod for best picture.
