Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Chief of Staff, Frema Osei-Opare, Senior Minister Yaw Osafo-Maafo amidst other party officials within the region gathered to pay their last respect to their comrade. He served in various key positions before becoming the first Central Regional Minister under President Kufuor. Mr. Edumadze, aged 61, was also a known farmer in the Ajumako area in the Central Region where he hailed from. The former MP who served from 1996 to 2004 for the Ajumako-Enyan-Esiam Constituency, was one of the most popular public officials from the Central Region during the Kufuor era.
