Kevin Wong, general manager of Oriental Group, the holding firm which owns Oriental Game, said its offshore gaming hubs in Clark, Pampanga and Kawit, Cavite would house not only operators and other companies, but also government offices and one-stop shop solutions. We’ll also invite the Bureau of Immigration and the BIR.”According to Wong, having all relevant authorities inside the hubs would ensure that all Philippine offshore gaming operators (POGO) inside the zone are compliant with government regulations. Oriental Game’s 10-hectare hub in Clark and 20-hectare zone in Cavite are the only two PAGCOR-approved POGO hubs in the country. Earlier, PAGCOR chairman and chief executive officer Andrea Domingo said the government is welcoming the establishment of POGO hubs to attract more investors and make it easier for the government to regulate the industry. She said offshore gaming operators who would locate inside these zones would be given a five year license, longer than the three-year permit given to those outside these zones.
