Siaya Governor James Orengo has urged the bedridden former Cabinet Secretary Raphael Tuju to keep fighting for his health after visiting him in the hospital on Wednesday. Tuju was rushed to the hospital after his health reportedly deteriorated in the Karen police station. Orengo praised Tuju in a post on X, saying Tuju had endurance, commending his resilience during the ordeal that ensued since his disappearance on Friday. Tuju's lawyers disclosed that Tuju was rushed to hospital when his health worsened during his detention and is under police guard despite not being arraigned in court. They further asked the court to give orders to ensure Tuju received medical treatment free from unlawful restraint.
