The Beatrice Regional Orchestra will perform a concert on Sunday afternoon at the Hevelone Center. “Anyone who comes to the concert will be able to recognize at least one or two pieces,” he said. “It’s one of my favorites and some of theirs too.”He said some of the music selected has been difficult for the orchestra. The doors will open at 1:30 with the concert beginning at 2 p.m.“It’s a great opportunity for people to hear real classical music being performed by an orchestra in Beatrice,” Meyer said. On April 28 the orchestra will perform “Love is in the Air” concert featuring the youth scholarship winners.
