A more serious orange weather warning has been issued for the east, with counties Dublin, Kildare, Louth, Wexford, Wicklow, Meath and Waterford expected to be the worst affected by a cold weather front nicknamed 'The Son of The Beast'. The orange warning will remain in place until lunchtime today. "Those areas included in the orange warning will see the heaviest snow showers," she said. There will also be some widespread frost overnight and this will create some treacherous road conditions, especially after the snow showers." This event is actually made up of snow showers coming in off the Irish sea.
