The little ballpark in the China Basin district of San Francisco is going to have its fourth name since it opened in 2000. Oracle Corp. has bought the naming rights, Thus, the home of the San Francisco Giants now will be called Oracle Park. The defending NBA champion Warriors are moving to a new $1 billion arena called Chase Center about a mile south of the Giants’ ballpark next season. As far as Oracle’s new naming rights deal with the Giants, Baer said it came together quickly. According to Forbes, Oracle – based just south of San Francisco in Redwood Shores – is worth $59 billion.
