Archie Francisco Gamboa denied the fake news on social media that he ordered the donation of the Combat Duty Pay and Combat Incentive Pay of PNP personnel for the Covid-19 response operations of government. But the PNP is extending support to the Covid-19 response operations, Gamboa said. Gamboa ordered intensified cyber patrol operations and monitoring against fake news. Moreover, Gamboa urged the public to stop sharing fake news online that would create panic and confusion.
