KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 9): Optimax Holdings Bhd (KL:OPTIMAX) founder Tan Sri Dr Tan Boon Hock has sold a 2.824% stake in ITMAX System Bhd (KL:ITMAX) for RM138.12 million. His vehicle, Sena Holdings Sdn Bhd, sold the stake comprising 29.2 million shares via a direct business transaction on Jan 7, according to a bourse filing on Friday. Boon Hock remains ITMAX’s largest shareholder with a 50.13% indirect stake or 518.4 million shares via Sena. His son, ITMAX managing director and CEO WIlliam Tan Wei Lun, is also deemed a substantial shareholder via Sena. When the company later listed on the Main Market at RM1.07 apiece in December 2022, he held a 51.3% stake or 527.1 million shares.
